Layin' Down a Wall of Rubber

We have all done it, I know my brother and I used to have these rubber band fights all of the time so often that my brothers nick name became "target" and "red-welt", needless to say he wasn't very fleet of foot as a young man.

Anyway, you have to see this new weapon that fires rubber bands, its awesome! The video is kind of long so if you want to skip ahead about 2 1/2 mins. or so the designer I assume, starts to shoot stuff.

This disease is being passed to our children as you read and view this video. Now is the time to take a stand!

Hero Rescue

The beginning of this clip you can hear one of the Pilots saying to the other helicopter pilot that his blades are pretty close to the mountain as he is trying to get close enough to rescue the soldiers and drop in their medic.

As the video goes on the radio chatter is about how many heroes were lifted, and finally confirm three heroes recovered. Its that kind of respect that these guys and gals have for one another that impresses me the most. If you ask me they are all heroes, it takes a lot of guts to put your chopper that close to the side of a mountain and possibly risk damage or injury to get all of our men and women out of danger.

The story has a sad twist. Several soldiers were lost before this rescue, see link at the bottom of video for the whole story.

Weather Change

We woke up this morning in Michigan and most of the state was 60 degrees(f), that's strange because it was just 19 degrees(f) the day before. Well I don't know about you, but that sudden weather change does crazy things to my sinuses so I had to double-up on Allegra, nose spray, and Tylenol. It made me think of this song in the video below.

You know something, I really don't know what to believe anymore. The Mitchell Report(steroid report)pointed out a lot of cheaters, but what if the report has some inaccuracies or bad character witnesses trying to dump the on the big name guys?

Christmas is, and is not

A little reminder of what Christmas is all about....not really.

Its not about honkin your horn on your way to work x-mas eve at some jerk-off driver, its not about bitching about being at work on x-mas eve, its not about every family member who owns the company I work for not being here, its not about everyone who is home and not working calling you and letting you know that their home and your not, no, its not about any of these things. Its about family and friends and that warm feeling you get by just being around one another, kack, puke, blah. Thanks for listening, I feel much better.
