Hero Rescue

The beginning of this clip you can hear one of the Pilots saying to the other helicopter pilot that his blades are pretty close to the mountain as he is trying to get close enough to rescue the soldiers and drop in their medic.

As the video goes on the radio chatter is about how many heroes were lifted, and finally confirm three heroes recovered. Its that kind of respect that these guys and gals have for one another that impresses me the most. If you ask me they are all heroes, it takes a lot of guts to put your chopper that close to the side of a mountain and possibly risk damage or injury to get all of our men and women out of danger.

The story has a sad twist. Several soldiers were lost before this rescue, see link at the bottom of video for the whole story.

Much respect to all of our fighting men and women! Witness uncommon Valor below.

They know fear like most of us will never hopefully know. But they sure don't show fear. American and allied soldiers are the bravest people made.
